ITM Mechanical Services was set up in 2009 by Iain McDonald and Ian Maitland, having previous been ITM Beadblasting. In 2015 Iain McDonald became the sole director. Iain McDonald has a great wealth of experience in the engineering field, having worked for over 37 years in both the offshore and onshore industries in the UK and abroad for many years before becoming a director of ITM Mechanical Services.
ITM Mechanical Services has built up a skilled, versatile workforce over the years, catered for an ever growing and diverse customer base. We specialise in fabrication of stainless steel, aluminium, glass and plastics. We have our own metal cleaning and finishing facility to enable us to provide our customers with a complete service.
In 2015, the company invested in advanced water-jet cutting technology to broaden its capability, enabling customers to source increasingly complex and intricate shapes in various different material.
We have recently completed work for the following organisations:- Edinburgh University, Glasgow University and several local authorities. We have extensive experience of working with clients in the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries.
