ORBITAL WELDING & HIGH PURITY PIPEWORK

ITM Mechanical Services specialises in orbital welding, precision TIG welding and high purity stainless steel pipework fabrication and installation. Based in Leven, Fife, we support pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor, research and advanced manufacturing customers across Scotland and the UK.

ORBITAL WELDING & PRECISION TIG WELDING

Our AMI orbital welding equipment produces consistent, repeatable welds on stainless steel tubing for applications where cleanliness, precision and joint integrity are important. We also provide manual TIG welding for bespoke assemblies, modifications and locations where orbital welding is not practical.

Typical work includes:

  • Automated orbital welding of stainless steel tubing
  • Precision TIG welding of process pipework and components
  • Prefabricated tube assemblies, manifolds and specialist connections
  • New installations, alterations and repairs to existing pipework

HIGH PURITY GAS & PROCESS PIPEWORK

We fabricate and install high purity stainless steel pipework for specialist process and utility systems. Our project experience includes semiconductor gas distribution, pharmaceutical process water, cooling water, vacuum connections and other services associated with process equipment.

WORKSHOP FABRICATION & SITE INSTALLATION

We support projects from site surveys and measurements through prefabrication, installation and modifications. Our team is experienced in working in cleanrooms, laboratories, research facilities and operational manufacturing environments, coordinating with customers and equipment suppliers.

CLEANING, TESTING & DOCUMENTATION

Depending on the application, work can include component cleaning, passivation, pressure testing, leak checking and agreed installation documentation. The scope and acceptance requirements are established for each project.

DISCUSS YOUR PIPEWORK REQUIREMENTS

Whether you need a single welded assembly, a new utility connection or a more involved process installation, we can help assess the requirement and develop a practical solution.
